Servicing your vehicle is a fundamental part of ensuring it is roadworthy and in many cases can help maintain it’s value. Many owners fully service their vehicle every year or the recommended every 12,000 miles. Maintaining your vehicle will keep it more efficient, safer, reduce the risk of breakdown and even in the long run save you money.

There are 3 common types of servicing available:

Oil Change Service
Oil is vital to keep your engine running smoothly as it lubricates vital components. This should be carried out between services or before taking a long journey.

Interim Service
Would usually be carried out between annual full servicing approximately 6 months or 6,000 miles. The more you maintain your vehicle you reduce the likelihood of a breakdown.

Full Service
Should be carried out every 12,000 miles or 12 months to keep your car maintained, manufacturers may recommend more frequent servicing. Some owners would typically service their vehicle when their MOT test is approaching.
